Before Arepa Bar had a storefront, it had a stall inside Mother Road Market on Tulsa's historic Route 66. Three sisters, raised on the recipes of their family kitchen in Venezuela, started small — selling the arepas, tequeños, and sauces they grew up loving, one order at a time. What began as a stand inside a food hall quickly built a following of neighbors who kept coming back for more.

Word about the food at Mother Road Market spread fast — and so did the dream. Encouraged by the community that showed up for them, the three sisters took the leap: turning their food stall into a real restaurant at 2118 E 3rd St, Downtown Tulsa. It was the same recipes, the same passion, now with a home of its own.
